okay so this week has been pretty hectic. from the staff party to bobs twentieth and also the frustration of d&d planning (yes, its eats you up like cancer) and oh not forgetting work too. & i am definately out of my element, been yawning more than only god knows how long.
other than that, it has been the usual day by day this week - school, met the boyfriend on days our schedules permits us (which is hardly other than towards the end of the week), lunch dates with classmates, swensens-ed with syed, watched the bf & the other guys played soccer on friday nights (getting slammed by the ball again and again is not an option) , worked till my hands are dry causing self injury and i cant remember what else.
& its pretty boring that theres no birthday party at work (why are there no january babies celebrating? ). being stuck to do park hosting which is basically twisting balloons (dogs, flowers, butterflies, swords, supersoakers, teddybears, etc) from 1200 till 1830 is boring or should i say, i have grown out of it? got to admit, it was fun doing that for its free & easy during the start of work (the only thing bugging would be idiotic kids & adults asking for more than 2 balloons). but considering i have worked for more than a year already (unbelievable but true), i'd rather do parties and something way more challenging than doing balloons for guests. -_-" but getting paid more than 6 buckeroos per hour is i think, easy money.
but i think this job has opened me to many things. like i did mascots before (yes, i did become a mascot), assisted in events, assisted guests, getting annoying party guests, cutting and eating cakes of many shapes and sizes, being the middle person to a fight (scary much), losing my party kids, and best part of all, i manged to be an emcee during christmas and its not as scary as i thought. theres loads more like assisting in Guest Relations, playing with the sound system thingy, foam pit, being the in charge yadayadayada. office politics are always there but i'd usually switch off to such things.
its about few mins past twelve and i wonder why nobody is home yet. if i knew everyone is going to be home this late, i would have stayed out longer. what the heck. -_-"
well, as you can see this entry was saved on 9th january 2009 but today is already the 14th. bloggers being a bitch so i got lazy to update. couple of things lined up this week, towning with classmates on friday maybe, work and a farewell picnic on saturday.
well, my shows are all back on track. gossip girl season 2 episode 14 made me tear, greys anatomy is the shizz, one tree hill is the same old same old, ugly bettys getting interesting and desperate housewives is just getting on my nerve. i think i still have got an episode of prison break and 90210.
